Art Cilley

Tenor Section Leader

Art became a barbershopper in 2012 but has been singing a cappella since high school.  He directed the early Princeton Footnotes before there was YouTube (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBvq69y581E) and has sung in church choirs, community choruses, and glee clubs for much of his life.  Now mostly retired after a career as a CPA/tax attorney in big business (PricewaterhouseCoopers, Verizon, IBM), he has been VP Marketing & Public Relations for the Mad Hatter Chorus and became its President in 2019.  He sings tenor in the chorus and the Blue Moon quartet, and baritone in the Traveling Men quartet.  Art is also active in the Greater Danbury Area Men’s Club and enjoys bridge, golf and chess.  A Danbury resident, he and wife Charlotte have two grown sons, Michael and Andrew, in CA and NYC.
