Dickson is a retired landscape architect living in Oxford, Connecticut. He has been a member of the Mad Hatters Chorus for five years, singing bass. His previous singing experience was quite limited, having only sung for a couple of years in the male glee club in high school and then briefly in church choirs over the years. Prior to joining the Mad Hatters, Dickson had not sung with an organized group for over 25 years but found the chorus to be welcoming and very supportive of a newcomer learning barbershop harmony. He is very thankful for the willingness of experienced singers to coach and for the recorded bass learning tracks which make the task easy and enjoyable.
