Festival of Trees is Greater Danbury’s signature holiday event and the largest annual fundraiser for Ann’s Place.  It was created in 2003 as an invitation to the community to participate in creating a family-friendly holiday gathering that also underwrites the clinical services programs to support and guide anyone on a cancer journey, including patients, family and loved ones.

Festival volunteers came together to create this treasured tradition and continue to operate it today.   Our Leadership Board and its larger Festival Committee and subcommittees meet 11 months of the year to keep this tradition fresh and exciting.  In its first 14 years, Festival raised over $2.56 million, dedicated to supporting area cancer patients.  Hundreds of volunteers and scores of organizations enable Festival of Trees to grow and delight families in a whole new generation.  We are so excited to bring Festival magic to the very accessible Crowne Plaza Hotel at Exit 2, I-84 in Danbury.

Every year Festival looks for talented volunteers to help lead, organize and staff the event.  Please contact our volunteer coordinator Lynn Stubbe ([email protected]) if you can share your time and or treasure to continue this creative tradition.  It is only with the community involvement that we can continue the miracle of delivering comprehensive clinical, wellness and educational services to our neighbors living with cancer in their most challenging hours.
